How do I get started?

Can I Use My own logo?

Yes! If you already have a logo that you would like to use in your customization project, you can upload it through our customization tool.

After selecting the hats for your project, you can upload your logo or browse our library of images and fonts to add text and make your caps unique.

You warrant and represent to Capbrim that Purchaser (you) are lawfully entitled to reproduce and embroider the logos, text and any trademarks used in the material ordered and has full authority to authorize Custom Lids to reproduce and copy such logos and material. Purchaser shall indemnify and hold harmless Capbrim from any and all loss, cost, expense and damages of any and all manner of claims, demands, actions, and proceedings that may be instituted against Capbrim on grounds alleging that said embroidering violates any copyright or any proprietary right of any person.

Any order containing a trademarked logo will be refunded to the customer, with the opportunity for the customer to submit another order to include logos that are NOT TRADEMARKED. 

Will the colors match my uploaded design?

Print and embroidery thread offer similar colors, but print has a much larger range of colors and tone options.  If you upload your own design, you will receive an email proof before production starts. This proof will show the actual thread colors that will be used. The colors that you see within the customizer are digital renderings, so the thread colors might look slightly different when you receive your order. We will have you approve the design proof to ensure that it matches what you envisioned. All colors should be reviewed before approving the design as well.

How long does it take to get a logo digitized?

  • Simple Logos (clean lines, few color blocks, no complex gradients or shadows): Typically completed within 1-2 business days.

  • Moderately Complex Logos (some details, limited colors, basic textures): Usually take approximately 3-5 business days.

  • Highly Complex Logos (rich in detail, many colors, fine gradients, or photo-like effects): May require 5-7 business days or longer.

The digitization timeline is not fixed and is primarily influenced by the following factors:

  1. Logo Complexity: As described above, this is the primary factor.

  2. File Format and Quality: The clearer and more well-layered your source files (e.g., AI, EPS vector files) are, the faster the processing. If only raster images (e.g., JPG, PNG) are provided, additional time is needed for redrawing or cleanup.

  3. Supplier's Current Order Volume: Busy periods may extend standard turnaround times.

  4. Communication and Revisions: Time for confirming details, back-and-forth communication, and making adjustments per your requests is also included in the total timeline.

  • Consult Your Supplier Directly: Send your logo file to your customization service provider (e.g., Capbrim). They can provide the most accurate estimate based on their current schedule and the design's complexity.

  • Prepare Files in Advance: Providing high-quality, editable vector source files is key to saving time.

  • Clarify Embroidery Specifications: Determining details like embroidery area size and fabric type (which affects stitch techniques) in advance can reduce follow-up confirmation steps.

  • Consider Rush Services: Some suppliers offer expedited digitization services (which may incur an additional fee). You can inquire about this option if you are on a tight schedule.

Where is my order?

Our Capbrim Design Experts are dedicated to creating your custom design and shipping your order as soon as possible. Once you submit your design, our Design Expert Team will contact you with a DESIGN PROOF within 3-4 business days to review your design before production. Once your design has been approved, orders will ship in 10-15 business days.

What methods of payment are accepted?

Payment is rendered upon placing your order. All major credit cards are accepted (Mastercard, VISA, American Express, & Discover). We also accept Shop Pay and Google Pay as well for a faster checkout experience.

Can I return my order if I don’t like the finished product?

Given that this order was designed by you and for you, all custom orders are non-refundable. All orders are inspected by our Quality Control Team before shipping to you. Capbrim does stand behind the quality of our product, so please contact us if you have any quality concerns.
